The majority of those who booked on LTR Intro Clitheroe were joining us for their first time, and for some it was their first experience on the trails, which was great to see. The route headed out from Roefield Leisure Centre and took in a good combination of varied terrains starting with some open fields. We then visited the Clitheroe Sculpture Trail, and the disused Cross Hill Quarry before returning along parts of the Ribble Way and the fantastic riverside path. With plenty of regrouping breaks and a friendly atmosphere the whole group enjoyed the 8km route and pleasingly gave positive feedback. On this occasion everyone stayed around for a social drink and breakfast post-run at the wonderful Bashall Barn which was great. Some of the group have already decided to step up to our next Intermediate 'Taster' run which is scheduled for 3rd June from Hurst Green. For those who feel most comfortable in the accommodating Intro group we'll be posting details of our next run very soon.
