After Saturday's snow and sleet we once again got lucky with the weather for this Sunday's Intro/Taster morning from Barrowford, getting round the intricate routes without any rain. With some new faces joining plenty of returning LTR runners it transpired that all of today's group were capable and up for the 10km Taster route. The 10km Taster took in sections of the Pendle Way heading up through the woods towards Blacko and at the furthest point looped around the tranquil Slipper Hill Reservoir. After a drink stop the chatting continued as runners were guided through Alkincoats Park, Blakey Bridge and returned through Higherford back to Barrowford. Those who were able to stay enjoyed a post-run 'cuppa' in the Pendle Heritage Centre Cafe. For those already looking for another adventure on the trails, we still have tickets available for our next Intro/Taster morning which will be from Bolton-by-Bowland on December 23rd.
