A brief outline: 

Friday — pm: 10k mystery head-torch run through Pendle Witch Country.
Saturday am: 21km of stunning trails through the Forest of Bowland AONB
Saturday pm: 21km of stunning trails through the Forest of Bowland AONB
Sunday am: 15km of intricate trails to the centre of the U.K Dunsop Bridge

As you'd expect, a lot of thought and planning goes into our weekends to ensure that all those who secure a place, get the absolute most from it. Due to its nature the weekend is aimed at and best suited to experienced & active trail runners with an emphasis on a relaxed & social atmosphere. For 'Trail-Lovers' this will be a fun-filled weekend, but in parts can be physically and mentally challenging.

The ‘Forest of Bowland AONB’

The entire Forest of Bowland AONB covers 312 square miles of rural Lancashire and adjacent Yorkshire and is a truly captivating part of the English countryside. Expanses of sky above dramatic sweeps of open moorland, gentle and tidy lowlands, criss-crossed with dry stone walls and dotted with picturesque farms and villages, all waiting to be explored! There is no better way of escaping from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and partaking in some of the most breathtaking, peaceful and remote guided trail running in the country.
