It was a cold but beautiful and clear start for LTR64 Haslingden Grane. Really encouraging that we had some new runners this morning, including Riccardo from Tottington, Glenn from Tadcaster, Dean from Whalley and Neil from Doncaster. Our undulating 17km route headed out from Clough Head Cafe on the Grane road, went beneath Nab Hill, down Pickup Bank, passed the reservoir and up into Hoddlesden. We then guided 'everyone' through some fun but tricky sections, including the unforgettable mud fest - pleasingly nobody got completely stuck and we all made it into the intricate wooded trails over near Broadhead. Once over Musbury Heights we returned to Clough Head past the stunning Calf Hey & Ogden Reservoirs. As on most of our Regular LTR's, it was at times a challenging route but we again had some positive feedback and it was great to share such a beautiful area with those who booked onto this one..
