An ominous forecast for Saturday developed into a nice morning on the trails for LTR79 #Downham. With only a few spots of drizzle and some sunny spells the weather couldn't have been much better for the group who joined us this weekend. The route contained a good mix of terrains with some open fields, and early on crossed the beautiful old Downham bridge. Runners were then guided past remains of #SawleyAbbey, and along sections of The #RibbleWay towards #WestBradford, returning to #Chatburn. The route finished with some testing trails around Worsaw Hill before arriving back in Downham. Whilst the trails were fantastic, for some the highlight was breakfast at the fantastic Greendale View Kitchen, where many of the group convened post-run. With no #LTR next weekend we're sure plenty of 'Trail Lovers' are already looking forward to our #Settle #HalfMarathon on August Bank Holiday weekend - we've planned a stunning route.
